When will the ironies stop? Clearly not any time soon.

Wheeee. Two of the rucksacked–five are shown in a souvenir photograph enjoying that evil-inspired Western creation, white-water rafting as a fun holiday. Why look; it’s Mohammed Sidique Khan holding two fingers up for the Western-invented-idolatry-making/image-making camera. Is that ‘V’ sign a peace sign, a victory sign, or simply a ‘v’ for vicious, volatile, vengeful? The bombers were all apparently takfiris; terrorists who adopt western dress and lifestyles to cover their activities. How convenient. British born and educated Muslims sporting God Save the Queen t-shirts, wearing Union Jack boxer shorts, waving the flag of St George, can experience all that the West has to offer before being exploded into heavenly peace and sex with seventy (female?) virgins.

If an under 30 male member of your family inexplicably burns his Nike trainers and hooded Adidas sweatshirt, shaves off all of his body hair, drinks holy water from Mecca and dons white robes – get out of the house fast - the killer is about to detonate the nail bomb he made in his room while being motivated by Kylie, Robbie, Elton, Joss – all his Western favourites. The good news is that if your family member has been on the wrong side of British law, he can make inspiring new friends; the reorganised al-Qaeda is recruiting criminals and drug dealers into their cells. Will wonders never cease?

While the rest of the decadents of Western society are ordering organic food, downloading music, e-mailing mates, checking the weather in Ibiza via the internet, murderous Muslims are falling off chairs, drooling in their collective beards from laughter at be-headings. Their version of Friends, Happy Days, Two and a Half Men, The Office? I do believe we have cultural rift here. Baba Ahmad, the cousin of Naeem Noor Khan – who studied at City University in London - whose computer was the source of the al-Qaeda communications network, pioneered al-Qaeda’s activities on the internet whilst living in South London. Ahmad set up the first website in the late nineties – all in English; so helpful for those who were born here and only speak one language. He opened the website from Imperial College, London and hosted it in the US; happily and legally. The Saudi dissident, Dr (of what exactly?) Muhammed al-Masari, posts the notorious website which reports from al-Qaeda’s frontline in Iraq and hosts videos of suicide bombings and beheadings that take place there. He has stated that al-Qaeda will continue to use weapons invented by the West to attack it. Thinking out of the box here: splinter groups from the now defunct IRA…hit men in need of work…hmmm. It’s an idea.

Just as the West is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the end of WWll, this caliphate comfortably nuzzles up to Nazi ideology: race purity, race superiority, blind faith, brainwashing, territorial claims, Mullah autocracy, woman as breeders, victims redeemed. Not more irony: radical imams have been declaring the need for the extermination of all Jews. I do believe I see a pattern here.

France has been busy admonishing the UK for its tolerance. Even with the recent ban on the hijab at all French schools, they are so sure that they have no problem with future terrorism, they are unwilling to check passports properly when people enter their country via the Eurostar – whose executives in sympathy, have absolved themselves from any responsibility. I assume their attitude is: keep them coming.

Italy has decided it wants one of the July 21st bombers, Hussain Osman, aka Hamdi Isaac to become a cause celebre. His very attractive lawyer, Ms Sonnessa, who first appeared to the press in what certainly looked to be underwear, has made it very clear that her priority is to foil all efforts by the Crown Prosecution Service to extradite him to Britain. That very same bomb Scotland Yard deemed “designed to kill and maim on a devastating scale” was merely “a demonstrative action” intended to scare. All inhabitants of the UK? It consisted of a detonator and flour. Right. Now who is telling the truth here? Hamdi, who was a member of a group so physically violent and vocally radical that trustees of the moderate mosque he and his band of merry Muslims men were trying to take over, were alarmed enough to go to the police? Was Hamdi planning a pizza party or the bloody annihilation of hundreds of innocent people? Italy is choosing the former.

New York is acting out that typical American characteristic. Kindly put – they don’t edit or accurately put – they just never stop talking. Police Commission Kelly has been ‘spilling the beans’ regarding the terrorist attacks in London. Details, details, details. After showing the easily available household and cosmetic chemicals needed to make a bomb, maybe he should do a simple demonstration for those of us who are bomb-making innocents. Let’s recall WWII posters: “Careless Talks Costs Lives“. Do you think you can remember that?

In London, it’s the backlash. Faith-hate crimes have soared since the bombings. 269 incidents compared to only 40 in the same three and a half week period last year. Most were low-level abuse: spitting, yelling, jeering, kicking cars. Outside the capital, the West Midlands and West Yorkshire are the most hateful: beatings, threats. South Yorkshire responses increased from 48 to 137. In its 26-year history, The Monitoring Group has never witnessed such a level of attacks, either in number or severity. “We have received over 200% more calls since 7 July…drivers have started putting two fingers up and calling me a terrorist. I have never experienced anything like that before.” What are these so-called civilised Western people thinking? Or for that matter, doing? Does pathetically stupid come to mind? What about ignorant, arrogant? Simultaneously, there has been an unprecedented outpouring of sympathy and flowers for Anthony Walker, the victim of an unprecedented vile race-hate attack. All these ironies are quickly losing their irony. I must go watch Hitler’s Children, part 2 now - for a reality check.
